Description
Snow Moon Regular is the result of cross-breeding two special hashish-producing plants. First is Ace Seeds' own purple-coloured Pakistan Chitral Kush dating from 2002; the second is a really top quality China Yunnan Indica expression of the well-known Orient Express cannabis hybrid strain. Yields can be very good especially outdoors.
Snow Moon produces two distinct phenotypes both of which are equally common. The "White" phenotype shows more expression from the China Yunnan and is reminiscent of the very best of the white strains from the 1990s. The density of the resin covering the buds and smaller leaves is so great that they appear to be covered in a white sheen; aromas tend to organic, earthy, forest-floor type.
The second phenotype is the heavily Pakistani-influenced "Blackberry" plant which produces red and purple buds and are covered in sticky resin smelling like forest fruit bubble gum. Both phenos are very indica-influenced with great flavour and a warm, happy and comfortable effect.
Both of these have good resistance to pests, diseases and temperature variations and can be grown outdoors with great success up to 47° of latitude. Average doses of nutrient are required throughout the life-cycle of the plant. The structure is typically indica with good branching and very wide, dark green leaves. Indoors flowering is finished in 7 - 9 weeks with the shorter plants being ready sooner than the taller. Outdoors plants will be mature at the end of September through early October. THC production is a steady 12 - 16% with low CBD at less than 1%. The overall effect is extremely pleasant, floating and relaxing with lovely flavour.
