Emerald Triangle's Morning Star CBD strain presents growers with the opportunity of obtaining enormous yields of dense, hard buds with an almost unbelievable CBD:THC ratio of 85:1. Morning Star CBD offers very high stability and is resistant to a range of plant pathogens making it a great outdoor strain for cooler climate regions.
Based on a vigorous, resistant hemp variety, Morning Star CBD has taken a period of 5 years to perfect. After crossing two pheno-types, a four year period of selection, based on growing 1000 plants per crop, was embarked upon before the best plants were selected. The selected strain was then crossed back twice before finally undergoing further hybridisation with the very best of these special selections. In order to guarantee that no cross-pollination occurred plants were pollinated by hand under special climate-controlled conditions. To further ensure that the ratio of feminised seeds is up to spec.10,0 00 seeds of each batch are grown out and flowered guaranteeing the grower the highest standards possible.
The result of this lengthy and arduous pheno-typical selection is a vigorous, stable strain resistant not only to pathogens and pests but also one which thrives is cool and windy conditions resulting in plants with an even, and easily-harvested, canopy. Outdoors flowering begins naturally after 90 days and lasts for a further 90 days. Harevsts in the northern hemisphere should be expected around late September/early October. Plants develop dark green, 5 - 7 bladed leaves and a Christmas tree structure with prodigious branching upon which tight inter-nodes grow dense buds. In excellent conditions these plants have the potential to produce 5 kg. dried weight of buds each!
The dense, hard buds have a zingy citrus scent and are reminiscent of indoor-grown crops such is their very high quality. CBD reaches a potential 17% with just 0.2% THC resulting in the incredible ratio of 85:1 mentioned above.

About Emerald Triangle
Emerald Triangle Seeds are so named after the region in northern California comprising of Humboldt, Trinity and Mendocino counties. In the early 70’s and 80’s, a growing number of city dwellers decided to move to northern California into these areas to develop communes, homesteads and other alternative lifestyle communities that broke away from the norms of society. This new found lifestyle was influenced greatly by the use of cannabis. Geographically, it happens to be one of the most optimal places in the world to grow cannabis. This region is special as it falls under the same parallel as where cannabis originates from, in the middle-east. With all that in mind it has allowed many different aspects of worldwide genetics to settle here, furthering their development.
Emerald Triangle Seeds are a group of seven breeders from the aforementioned famous area of California. They have over two decades of cultivation experience between them.
A relatively new seedbanks, Emerald Triangle aim to bring quality and stability to every strain. Their passion is focused on providing meticulous care and quality for their strains and to ensure genetic stability through nature. This means that they refuse to discount the role of a male chromosome in their breeding techniques and gene pool.
