Nausea

Nausea is a very common symptom of a variety of illnesses. It is often defined as a feeling of discomfort in the stomach and an intense desire to want to vomit. Nausea doesn’t always precede the act of vomiting itself. Many prescription medications often exhibit nausea as a side effect. This includes chemotherapy, which can often bring about very serious bouts of nausea.       

There have been various studies on the effect of cannabis on nausea and its related illnesses.

In 2011, a study published in the Journal of Pharmacology indicated that cannabinoids, including CBD, may be effective clinically for treating both nausea produced by chemotherapy of other therapeutic treatments.

While in 2016, a report from Frontiers in Pharmacology suggested that there was therapeutic potential in cannabinoids, particularly in regards to chemotherapy induced nausea.
