Lava Freeze is a cross between an old Dutch strain called Friesland Indica a.k.a M33 or Freezeland and Lava Cake. The Dutch-developed plant was popular in Canada due to its quality, productivity and sheer hardiness in the harsh Canadian climate.
A reversed elite Lava Cake clone was the mother while pollen was supplied by the Friesland Indica. The Lava Cake contributes great vigour and a terpene profile to die for as well as a very potent, heavy effect.
Lava Freeze is 90% indica and grows into a medium to large plant which takes 8 weeks to complete the flowering cycle indoors. This strain is an F3 and as such it gives rise to 4 pheno-types: two purple and 2 green ones. Karel's favourite is the purple one with a pronounced taste of fuel.
