Ewe-2 is a pure indica cannabis strain with top-secret genetics that comes from the private collection of Kief Sweat, personal marijuana breeder for Cypress Hill. It is a very high-quality strain with a short flowering time.
Ewe-2 is a compact indica plant with very little stretch once the flowering stage is entered, maybe 15% at the most. This strain needs a longer than average vegetative growth stage to compensate for the lack of stretch and will also greatly benefit from pinching or cutting the top in order to produce more side growth and to encourage multiple tops. Doing this will also lead to greater light penetration which in turn will help to increase bud size and subsequent yields producing dense, crown-shaped buds.
Apart from indoor cultivation Ewe-2 also does very well outdoors in warm, dry, Mediterranean-type climates as well as in more temperate ones as long as there is plenty of sun and not too much rain. Indoor harvests will fall within the range 340 - 500 gr/m2 in a very short flowering time of just 52 - 56 days. Outdoor plants will grow 2 - 3 meters tall, or even a bit higher, producing yields of between 1.25 - 2.5 kg/plant in late September in the northern hemisphere.
Ewe-2 has an enticingly complex aroma that incorporates ripe fruit and sandalwood. On the palate is added a sweet, earthy note. THC production is in the range 18% - 21% along with 0.1% CBD. The effect is typically indica, marvellously relaxing and it provides the perfect way to really unwind and chill out.

- disappointed with this strain |
I was expecting a lot with this strain, and got a weak small plant. This was the plant that couldn't grow while all the plants round it flourished...It wasn't just one plant either. Maybe it was a bad batch because the seeds from Humboldt are usually quality.

- Zero point zero |
Zero for three germinated from this package. Too bad because I was really excited about this variety. Ordered it again from a different seed bank.

About Humboldt Seeds
The Humboldt Seeds Organization is a collective of growers and breeders who are based in the Emerald Triangle. They help share California cannabis genetics with the rest of the world though operations based in Spain.
The Humboldt Seeds Organisation are focused on organic and environmentally sustainable cultivation. A community-based philosophy underpins the organization, meaning they attempt to buy locally, give back to the community, and engage in sustainable economic choices. In fact, their own website states that this very California ethical model is part of what they want to share with the world.
Strong hybrids thrive in Northern California, the original locale where indicas took root in America. Humboldt Seed Organization is the home of some West Coast darlings including Blue Dream, Trainwreck, and Chemdawg to name just a few. Humboldt Seed Organization’s Blue Dream is a beautiful example of the marriage between a creative sativa head-high, and the smooth body relaxation of an indica. This experience is the quintessential California smoke.
This established network of breeders and experts is driven not only by deep passion for the work, but also by a unique regional culture of marijuana breeding that stretches back forty years. Their focus on sustainable and ethical practices adds something interesting to their roster of distinctive strains.
The relationship between breeders and seed banks forms an important foundation within the cannabis world. Conscious creations of new strains, the maintenance of existing strain genetics, and the professional storage and distribution of a wide variety of seeds helps to maintain important genetic stock in case catastrophe strikes. Crop infections and infestation, natural disasters, widespread war or famine—all of these factors can result in a need for safe seed reserves. This is why it is so important that breeders create high quality genetic stock, and that seed banks are able to curate diverse collections of seeds, which is exactly what Humboldt Seeds Organization hope they have accomplished.
