Description
Durban Poison is a sativa-dominant hybrid strain created by crossing the South African Durban strain with a fast-finishing Skunk from the Netherlands. This is an easy-growing plant with a relatively fast finish for a plant with a majority of sativa genetics.
Durban Poison grows into a tall plant with long, thin leaves which is highly suited to a SoG (Sea of Green) cultivation technique. Indoor growers will harvest approximately 400 - 500 gr/m2 in an 8 - 9 week flowering period. Its buds are quite dense and become rather elongated and covered in sticky resin. the calyxes can display some nice purple colouration.
This strain's scent is a combination of fruity and floral with anise (aniseed) notes, the latter being clearly detectable on the palate along with a degree of earthiness. THC content averages around 15% up to 205 and, while not extreme by any means, the effect is very uplifting and cerebral with a trippy edge to it. It is good for focus and motivation and a morning smoke can be just the ticket for a productive and enjoyable day.
Therapeutically it is said to alleviate stress, depression and anxiety.

About Nirvana Seeds
Nirvana Seeds’ story begins in the 1980’s when its founder, Mau, was working in a grow shop in Amsterdam. Watching the professionals work their magic, he became inspired and was compelled to learn the trade so he could start his own cannabis seed company.
Mau then spent to the next few years, travelling the globe, collecting cannabis seeds from the finest strains across the world. After this came further years of experimentation; cultivating and developing brand new strains that would be successful in a competitive marketplace.
Finally, after Mau had honed his products to perfection, Nirvana Seeds was created in 1995. Since then, Nirvana have become one of the most reputable companies in the industry, with some incredibly unique strains that have become immensely popular within the cannabis community.
Today, Nirvana have an extensive range of hemp products as well as their incredible seed collection. This includes hemp drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, food products, clothing and more. However, the popularity of their library of strains is what sets this company apart from the competition.
