Dancehall combines the genetics of Juanita La Lagrimosa, Reggae Seeds' champion mother plant and with a 1:1 THC:CBD ratio, with pollen from a Kalijah male which imparts its high-CBD genetics to the majority of this seed bank's regular strains. Cannabinoid levels are high.
Dancehall plants show great uniformity with high yield potential. They grow to between 150 - 250 cm. tall depending on local conditions and the care and attention lavished by the grower. Although sativa-dominant it doesn't have a proliferation of branches and is therefore suited to Sea of Green as long as it isn't vegged for more than 3 weeks or so. Outdoors it needs a Mediterranean climate to thrive and when temperatures drop below 20°C red and purple colouration is present. Flowering is between 60 - 70 days indoors with crops weighing in at 350 - 500 gr/m2. Outdoors harvest will be in the first half of October in northern latitudes cropping around 500 gr/plant.
The flavours and aromas of Dancehall are very complex and encompass earthy, berry and incense scents with a rich palate with a long finish. Many plants have high levels of CBD so although the effect is fast-hitting, cerebral, creative and long-lasting the psycho-active effect is moderated. It is very social and great for romantic adventures or for steppin' to some deep bass reggae music.
Medicinally it is likely to lift moods and create a general sense of well-being.

About Reggae Seeds
Although officially created in 2006, the founders at Reggae Seeds have a number of decade’s worth of experience behind them.
As a seedbank, they are dedicated to searching for, selecting, and creating great genetics. They work with the little treasures that they find from selecting or from swaps, make crosses with them, and then making them available to their customers.
The basis of Reggae Seeds’ genetics is that they are all carriers of very high concentrations of CBD, perfect for medicinal use.
The Reggae Seeds products are the result of the work with the genetics and the result of our selections from all types of seeds, commercial as well as landrace. Their crosses come from stable genetics well known in the cannabis world, so the quality is guaranteed from the start.
The strains on offer at Reggae Seeds all have a common denominator; they are well-suited for indoor growing, as well as being acclimatized for outdoors.
Reggae Seeds initially exclusively cultivated and sold regular seeds, a unique venture for a market saturated with the demand for feminized seeds. However, at Reggae Seeds they believe that males are extremely important; and by cultivating them, everyone has the ability to contribute to greater genetic diversity in Cannabis.
Reggae prefer to consume products which are natural and ecological, without genetic or chemical manipulations, for the good of the health and conservation of vegetable species. However, experience has all told Reggae Seeds that they can also get excellent results using feminized seeds and therefore are now offering the Funky Experience line, their feminized seeds, all high quality crosses.
This Dutch Seedbank is, while relatively new, making serious waves on the European cannabis seed market. Their comprehensive library of strains is ever-expanding, so whether you are looking for a classic regular strain, or a fantastic feminised strain, you won’t go far wrong with Reggae Seeds, available now at Seedsman.
