Blue Cheese Automatic is a cross of two auto-flowering marijuana strains, viz. Blueberry Automatic and Cheese Automatic, that bears testament to its 5 years of selective breeding. Claimed to be superior to either of its parents the result here is clearly even greater than the sum of its constituent parts.
Ready to harvest in just 10 weeks from germination it is the ideal auto plant for higher latitudes and temperate climates as it will be mature before the weather turns really inclement. The aromatic buds display a nice blue colouration when night time temperatures drop close to harvest time. These plants are small reaching a maximum height of 110 cm. when grown outdoors in the ground or a large pot. Indoor plants will stay between 40 - 70 cm. high. Yields are a quite impressive 325 - 375 gr/m2 when grown indoors under 600 watt grow lights; alternatively outdoor growers should obtain up to 110 gr/plant.
If grown in warmer climates it is possible to get two or even three harvests per year, especially if the plantings are staggered so that the next lot is started off before the previous crop is quite ready to harvest. Even in higher latitudes the crop will be safely gathered in before the frosts or heavy rains start. The buds are quite dense and sparkle with the resin that is produced by their trichomes; in fact this is a useful strain from which to make hash or other extracts with.
Blue Cheese Automatic is a very aromatic strain that combines the tang of soft, creamy cheese with a lovely berry fruitiness. The old-school skunky taste leads into a relaxing, calm, uplifting high that makes Blue Cheese Automatic a great choice whether grown indoors or outdoors. THC levels are around 16% with low CBD which together mitigate against an overly heavy or couch-lock effect. In social situations it is a good choice too as the effect encourages sociability rather than introspection.
