Lavender is a 3-way hybrid weed strain that is bred from Afghani x Korean Big Skunk x Super Skunk. It is 65% sativa and 35% indica and is a plant that turns such a deep shade of purple that its leaves look almost totally black at maturity.
Lavender plants can reach a great height id left to veg. for long enough. It is one of the most exotic-looking cannabis plants imaginable. It can be cultivated both indoors as well as outdoors. Indoors yields are in the region of 450 - 500 gr/m2 after a 9 week flowering period. When cultivated outdoors growers can expect to harvest their plants at the end of September in northern latitudes with yields being 700 gr/plant or even higher. Very few extraneous leaves grow on this strain making manicuring/trimming of its dense buds very easy due to the high calyx to leaf ratio.
Lavender buds exude the spicy aroma of Afghani hashish; its 20% THC and 0.05% CBD provide a potent and very relaxing high with happy feelings. It is said to be useful for pain relief and to combat the effects of stress.
