Chem Lem is the result of crossing Chem 4 with Joe's Lemonade, it's name being a bang-on description of its terpene profile. It's a high-yielding strain which is also quite easy to grow.
Chem Lem is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. There are actually three pheno-types; the first is Chem 4-dominant which is quite stretchy and develops arm-sized colas and which exudes bleach-y, astringent cleaner type scents. The Joe's Lemonade pheno is altogether much shorter and produces scents of Skunk, creamy hash and citrus/fruity terpenes. This one responds well to topping which produces multiple flowering tops although they might need some form of support for the extra weight. The buds from the latter pheno are like small, dense golf balls, quite different from the Chem 4. Some plants appear to combine the best of both worlds and are of mixed character. Indoor flowering takes 8 - 10 weeks depending on the pheno-type.
The plants produce higher yields than other strains with Joe's Lemonade for a parent. Very rewarding concentrates can be made from whichever method is preferred although the very best will be live resin extract such as that made by HCFSE/ HTFSE. (High Cannabinoid Full Spectrum Extract / High Terpene Full Spectrum Extract).
